WELCOME TO TRINITY
We'd love to get to know you!

Attending a new church can be overwhelming. There are so many things that may be new. So, we'd like to make your experience at Trinity warm and welcoming, simple and smooth.  In this section, you'll find some answers to the most common FAQs people have as they attend a new church for the first time. When you visit, please let us know if there's anything else we should have included to make your first visit a rewarding and worthwhile experience.

  • What is it like? From September through April, we have two worship services to choose from.  One is more traditional, with hymns and spoken liturgy, and our pastor dressed in conventional robes.  The other is more contemporary, with music you may hear on the radio led by our Praise Band, casual dress, and Pastor Burkee wearing a nice shirt and pants but no robes. In "summer months" when most of our winter residents have left Arizona, we have one Unified Worship Service that blends the best of both styles of worship.

  • What about my kids? At Trinity, kids are an important part of worship! We love to hear the sound of children in the congregation, and have a Children's Sermon every week with a special message tailored to their ages and attention span. However, we also know that bringing children to church can be challenging. For that reason, we offer nursery services for parents of children up to age 5. To help ensure that everyone has the best experience, all of our nursery staff as well as our Sunday School teachers have successfully completed background checks prior to serving.

  • Where do I park? We are blessed to have parking on every side of our Sanctuary (the tall, angular blue building at the front of our property). On Sundays, all gates will be open for easy entry. Handicap parking is marked, and if you have mobility challenges, you may find it easiest to park on the North side nearest Gate A to shorten your walk.

  • What do I wear? We do not have a dress code at Trinity! Having said that, you may notice some people dress up a bit for church and others do not. We hope you come in clothing that is comfortable and makes you feel your best. We realize that means something different to everyone worshiping, and rejoice in the diversity represented by different backgrounds, cultures and perspectives.

  • How can I get connected? It's so easy to connect.  We have small groups with many different focuses, Bible Studies, Sunday School, Life Groups, Youth Groups, Game Nights, Movie Days, and so much more!  Plus our award winning TLC Preschool is an amazing place for young children to grow and learn.  Just fill out a "Connect Card" by hand or digitally, and we will make sure to include you in our communications and help you get started finding your place at Trinity!
