Jonathan Burkee

Pastor Jonathan Burkee was born in St. Louis, MO and raised throughout the Midwest. After completing high school, he attended Concordia University Wisconsin and graduated in 2005 with his Bachelor of Arts. He continued his education at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO and graduated with his Master of Divinity in 2009. Until receiving the call to serve at Trinity Lutheran Church and TLC Preschool, Pastor Burkee’s ministry was served at churches in Southern California. Pastor Burkee is passionate about ministry to all ages, but especially sharing the love of Jesus with children. Pastor Burkee is married to his high school sweetheart, Karla. They have been married for 16 years and have one son, Jacob. They enjoy spending time together as a family—taking walks, watching movies, playing games, and just being a family. In his spare time, Pastor Burkee also enjoys working on do-it-yourself projects, household projects, reading, and learning.
